I’ll be moving to a studio space.
Visit me there soon – I’m on crutches so will be working from my home studio this week.
Stay tuned for more info on the opening event on April 30th!

My work can be seen at Lot 8 Salon in the Village. Opening night was a lot of fun and thanks to Christine and Souki and the Lot 8 Salon crew for all their efforts. I sold a couple pieces and am working on a commission from an art-loving family who came to see the show.

I’m really excited about the launch of my artwork at the Lot 8 Salon on Thursday 18th November. Join me and enjoy the complimentary wine and cheese while viewing the art work! Christine and Souki, the owners of the salon, are so gracious in letting me adorn the salon walls exclusively. So, after a hard day’s work/errands, pop by the salon at 2372 Rice Boulevard (between Morningside + Greenbriar, same side as British Isles) at 6-8pm.
You can view a sneak preview of my new work here on this site.
This week one of my works is in a group show, Art on the Avenue up at the Winter St Studios. I worked as a volunteer at the preview last night and I’m looking forward to properly viewing the 300+ pieces of work – paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry and even celebrity-designed birdhouses on Saturday night. I met Houston’s trail-blazing mayor, Anise Parker who decorated two birdhouses. So get yourself along to the event tomorrow!
The exhibition finishes this Friday after being extended for a week. So if you haven’t seen it yet, your last chance is TOMORROW to see a selection of work from Texas-based artists. It’s a perfect way to end the week. You could treat yourself across the street at the Galleria afterwards with retail therapy.
One of my works ‘Grey899’ has been selected to be in this year’s Assistance League of Houston ‘Celebrates Texas Art’ show at the Williams Tower Gallery, 2800 Post Oak Blvd, Galleria, Houston.
It’s on for a month from this Friday January 15th to February 19th 2010. Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, and admission is free.
Opening night Jan 14th, 6-8pm.
